Reports and impact

Find out about the impact of our work and as well as our plans to continually improve our services in the reports below, which detail our vital work to support people affected by crime.

Our mission is supporting anyone affected by crime, empowering them to move forward and keeping them at the heart of justice in Scotland.

Every year, we support over 50,000 people in local communities and courts throughout Scotland. We have over 500 experienced, trained and committed volunteers who provide support and work with many partners across the country.

We have just released our new strategy for 2021-2026, Empowering people affected by crime, which seeks to ensure those affected by crime have access to justice, are treated with dignity and respect, receive high-quality support, and are involved in the development of justice priorities.

Our latest initiative is the Support for Families Bereaved by Crime service, which provides a dedicated support worker to help families navigate the criminal justice system following bereavement through murder or culpable homicide.
