Victim Support Scotland (VSS) is committed to ensuring that the voices of victims of crime, witnesses, and their family members, are heard and acted upon. Our report, "Hearing People Affected by Crime," outlines our dedication to supporting victims, witnesses, and their families across Scotland. We strive to provide independent, free, non-judgmental, and confidential services that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Our primary goal is to represent the voice of people affected by crime and to influence key national policy decisions that champion victim and witness rights. By advocating for positive improvements within the criminal justice system, we aim to enhance the support services available to those in need. We work collaboratively with criminal justice agencies, the third sector, and local organisations to push for meaningful changes to benefit people affected by crime.
