The importance of trust, transparency and knowledge sharing between a Board of Trustees and the Executive Leadership Team cannot be underestimated.

Significant amounts of preparation go into discussing key strategic priorities, preparing reports, and submitting updates – all designed to ensure good governance – and for us this means delivering for victims and witnesses in every local community and court across Scotland. Personally, I benefit greatly from their insight and welcome comments, feedback, and constructive scrutiny. It makes what we do better.

I want to thank our Trustees for the time, expertise, and guidance that they give so generously. It makes us a better organisation.
