
Victim Support Scotland response to report from Antisocial Behaviour Independent Working Group
Victim Support Scotland (VSS) welcomes the recommendations and actions of the Report from the Independent Working Group on Antisocial Behaviour.
“VSS is concerned about the extreme vulnerability of men, women and girls from modern slavery, exploitation, abuse and crime as a result of the proposed UK Parliament’s Illegal Migration Bill.
“Immigration is a reserved matter and the immigration provisions in the Bill apply to the whole of the UK – The Scottish Parliament does not have the power to make laws in regard to immigration.
“VSS supports the position of agencies campaigning to uphold human rights law the protection of survivors of human trafficking.”
