Victim Support Scotland has helped me every step of the way, from speaking to the police to get updates on the investigation, to providing me with explanations of the process and assurances that they would be there to support me every step of the way.

Victim Support helped me by listening to me, and putting me in contact with other organisations that I needed. I now volunteer with Victim Support Scotland’s Court Based Service at a Sheriff Court.

Victim Support Scotland provided emotional support to help me get back on my feet. They helped me apply for further criminal injuries compensation following the damage to my hearing and when it became apparent a few years later that I had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Thank you so much! It has been the hardest time, but you've taken so many worries away. We are starting new beginnings after 32 years of hell. I’m ready to open up and start healing, and so are my two children. We laugh together now, something we weren’t allowed to do before. Thank you all so much.
