How we’re funded

Victim Support Scotland is a registered, independent Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). Our main source of income is from the Scottish Government to deliver essential services to victims and witnesses across the country.

We receive funding from some local authorities to provide specific services in local communities. Some of our funding also comes from corporate partners, charitable trusts and foundations and other grant-making bodies.

We receive generous donations and legacies from members of the public, and we are grateful to our volunteers and staff who raise money at a local level through a variety of fundraising efforts.

More on our funding and spend can be found in our latest annual accounts
