Victim Support Scotland background
Victim Support Scotland provides support and information services to over 50,000 victims and witnesses of crime in Scotland each year. We achieve this through the dedicated work of volunteers, supported by paid staff in courts and all local authority areas of Scotland.
We educate the public with specialised training programmes and work to raise awareness of the impact of crime on individuals, communities and society. We are an independent charity, committed to providing free, confidential, impartial and effective support to help victims and witnesses cope with the experience of crime and find the strength to move on with their lives.
