The President

The Princess Royal became Patron of Victim Support Scotland in 1995 and has been our President since 2005.

She takes a very close interest in our work and regularly attends both national and local events. During her visit to the Glasgow national office as part of Victim’s Awareness Week in 2019, Princess Anne met with people who have been bereaved by crime as well as volunteers who provide support after murder. She sat in on a meeting with the Support for Families Bereaved by Crime service team and had an opportunity to discuss the development of this new service.
