Paul Main

Paul retired from Police Scotland after 30 years service in April 2019 leaving as the Local Policing Commander for Ayrshire. In this role he was a member of the Chief Officer Groups and Community Planning Boards in East, North and South Ayrshire and a Board Member of Community Justice Ayrshire.

He has been an advocate for Trauma Informed services including those who become involved in Criminal Justice systems. Since retiring he has taken up the role of Independent Chair of the North Ayrshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership.

Paul is married with two grown up children. He has interests in cinema, travel and improving his fitness.
