Board of trustees

Victim Support Scotland’s board is comprised of up to 12 trustees, who have either been elected or recruited for their specific skills and experience, and our Chief Executive Officer, Kate Wallace. The trustees contribute on a voluntary basis and do not receive remuneration.

The Board provides strategic leadership, governance, direction and overall accountability. It decides the organisation’s strategic direction, mission and priorities. It ensures that VSS complies with its governing documents, charity and company law and other relevant legislation.

Trustees are all legally our company members and can vote at our annual general meeting.
